Emansio

There's a new kid in the so called “push-email block” called Emansio. As far as I have the ability to tell they provide the same — or at least very similar service — as emoze, so I'm not sure just how they mean to “revolutionise the way that users of mobile phones in the Consumer and Small Business sectors can access their email on the move.” Not that I have anything against them — it's just the fact that we see “revolutionary” word being used so many times in the press releases we get.

Anyway, similarly to emoze's consumer offering, Emansio Push Mail software provides a direct connection between the user's mobile device and existing email server. And under “existing email server” they also mean that you can push your email from popular email services like GMail, Yahoo, and AOL to your mobile phone.

Emansio is based in the UK and they’ve a website where you can learn more about their offering and download a fully functional trial version of their software.

Ringtone A-List

AT&T recently launched “Ringtone A-List”, a special part of their web site where they unveil the sounds found on the mobile phones of today's top stars. The idea behind the move seems to entice users purchase more ringtones and I guess other mobile content, as well.

Each month, the Ringtone A-List will feature a selection of stars from TV, film, music and sports. Fans will have the chance to learn which tones each celebrity has downloaded to his or her wireless phone, preview an audio clip and, if they wish, buy the tone directly from the Web site.

May's featured celebrities include Conrad, Patridge and Port from “The Hills;” Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and actor Mario; and international pop vocalist Leona Lewis.

Interested to see which ringtones celebrities use? Hop over to att.com/ringtonealist for more information.

HTC P3400i PDA phoneRecently, HTC revealed a new PDA phone - P3400i. The device runs Windows Mobile 6 and only a year ago would be worth enough speaking about. Now, once the Diamond has been revealed, I'm having a problem finding any good words to describe it. To be fair, the P3400i is completely different beast than the Diamond. It targets entry-level smartphone users and as such it provides a solid value for the money.

The so called “affordable business PDA” sports a 2.8-inch touchscreen, quad-band GSM/GPRS radio, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity support. An array of Microsoft software is pre-installed to help users be more productive, and media playback capabilities ensure that the P3400i owners will also be/stay entertained while on-the-go.

The HTC P3400i should be available at the end of May at all authorized resellers at a suggested retail price of $488.

iPhone Super Grip - pic 1

iPhone might be a beautiful phone but without a proper case it can easily slip away. On the other hand, that same case makes the device look uglier, but I guess that's a trade off for protecting it against falls.

Now, thanks to Brando's Super Grip your iPhone won't slip any more. As matter of fact you’ll be able to grip your shiny toy virtually everywhere, including such slippy surfaces like boats, tables, chairs, desks, etc. At the same time the “gripping, but not sticky” pad will protect iPhone's aluminium back cover from scratch. The only problem I see beside again making the device bit uglier, is putting out the iPhone out of your pocket. If the pad is that sticky, won't it stick to your pants? Or I'm wrong?

Anyway, the iPhone Super Grip costs $10.50 and is available in either black or white. More images that demonstrate just how gripping this thing really is follow after the jump.

HTC Diamond accessories

I'm not exactly sure how we missed to mention that alongside the Diamond, HTC is also preparing to launch the specially designed accessories for the gorgeous device. The HTC Touch Diamond device tour reveals users can expect to see the Taiwan-based smartphone maker releasing the Diamond desktop cradle, wired stereo headset and travel charger. Each of the accessories mentioned sport the same look and feel of the touchy smartphone, making them an best purchase for any future Diamond owner. Or at least HTC hopes that’ll be the case. For one thing, I would die for that cradle. I'm not sure whether it charges the device or is just used for syncing with a computer — or both — but man, that's one object I wanna see on my table. ;)
