Japanese people love Dynasty Warriors. They also love Gundam. It’s tiny surprise, then, that Dynasty Warriors Gundam is one of the ten most popular titles on the PS3 in Japan. It’s also no surprise that Koei went right ahead and hammered out a sequel.

The unholy spawn of Koei and Namco Bandai is back, and it looks the same as ever. It’s Dynasty Warriors, but with big robots. Hurrah!

This is the third of three trailers we’ve got from Russian-based publisher Game Factory Interactive and, as you’ll see, we’ve saved the best for last. By that I mean … I don’t even know what I mean.

Just like The Precursors, this is billed as an FPS/RPG hybrid, and it seems to involve cocaine, jungles and umbrellas that are sponsored by Maxim. Quite how this game is supposed to be coming to the Xbox 360 is beyond me, but to be fair, it’ll probably still be superior than Mass Effect.

Gears of War 2 Combustible Map Pack out today, have a free trailer screenshot

As was announced last night, the Gears of War 2 Combustible Map Pack is now available on Xbox Live for 800 MS Points. To celebrate, here are some screens and a video (after the jump) for you to look at with your eyes.

Looks hot, but I’m not sure if I’ll be downloading this until I know for a fact that Gears 2′s matchmaking problems are going to be fixed properly. Post-title update, my experiences in the game lobby have only gotten worse — a fact made even more annoying now that griefers have started hosting matches simply to quit them as soon as they’ve started — exploiting both the lack of host migration and the knowledge that it can take over fifteen minutes to get a game started.

Until I can play Gears of War 2 without bullsh*t like that happening, I think I’ll keep my 800 Points to myself.

Well, Electronic Arts seems committed to producing original game ideas, and you don’t get more very special than a videogame based on The Divine Comedy. Coming from Redwood Shores, the guys that brought us Dead Space, Dante’s Inferno is an action game that’ll take you to Hell itself. The Pope is going to love this.

As well as the official announcement, Dante’s Inferno has an official Web site and, of course, the above video. As you can see, it doesn’t reveal too much, but I am really digging the style and the fact that a crucifix gets rammed in some guy’s head.
