Death threats do not equal free Gamertags screenshot

The very fact that Microsoft charges 800 MS Points just so a person can change their tag is pretty farcical, but one particular gamer feels more sore about it than anybody else. Dave Zatz tried to change the tag for free after he received an alleged death threat — surprise surprise, Microsoft didn’t give out.

“I’ll kill you in real life with a real gun,” was the threat made over a game of Call of Duty: World at War. While Zatz suggests he never felt the threat was too serious, he nevertheless felt a change of tag would be wise.

Xbox 360 = Tupperware parties? screenshot

Actually, the 360 is going to make Tupperware a thing of the past — Xbox 360 is the new flavor when it comes to cynical social gatherings between housewives who want to make their dreary lives more interesting by selling crap to their friends.

Dark Athena screens mean they're action packed screenshot

There’s not too much more to state right now about The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. It looks great, and our eyes-on preview of the game Atari recently gave us seems to back that up.

Blood on the Sand screenshot

You may be surprised to read this, but THQ’s upcoming PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 game 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand does not have much in common with the publisher’s other current hit de Blob for the Nintendo Wii. I know: shocking!

To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect when I got a opportunity to sit down for some extended hands-on time with the sequel to last year’s critically panned, but commercially successful action game Bulletproof. I mean, 50 Cent and I have everything in common (although I’ve only been shot eight times), but was there really any chance that his new, ridiculous-sounding action game could actually be good?

I had an chance to not only play the game, but to also interview Blood on the Sand co-stars Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo of G-Unit to find out for myself.

While the epic, highly quotable interview won’t be revealed until tomorrow, hit the jump for my hands-on impressions of 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. You may be surprised to find out what I think.
