There’s tiny question that TimeSplitters developer Free Radical Design was working on the unannounced Star Wars: Battlefront III. After the success of the first two titles (developed by Pandemic), it was a no-brainer, and rumors have recommended that the Nottingham, England-based developer was on board for number three.

A billion years ago (in World wide web time) we brought you the thrilling announcement that developer 505 Games are actively working with Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps on new videogame “projects” slated to hit next-generation consoles and the iPhone in an undetermined timeframe. Specifics on the title(s) have been scarce at best. We couldn’t confirm that any of these projects featured swimming until recently when 505 president Adam Kline decided to talk Phelps with the The Daily News.
Kline, obviously excited about his new property, pitched it as a “pure action game,” that involves swimming. He left it up in the air as to what the action comment actually meant.
Swimming will be a part of it, but it won’t be set in an Olympic pool going back and forth. This is a pure action game.
He went on to say that 505 games believes the Phelps property to be the “next Tiger Woods project” and that it could “be here for the next 10 years.” He then confirmed that money would be spent marketing the title, which I find incredibly ridiculous. Marketing isn’t needed, Mr. Kline. Everyone wants a Michael Phelps game.

Granted, it’s a ridiculous use, but it’s something! Yes, rapping sensation (they still call it rap, right?) and videogame expert Soulja Boy has actually found something to do with the New Xbox Experience — he’s made a music video out of it.
Mr. Boy’s new song “Grind On” features the Braid hating sensation strutting his stuff in Avatar form. He doesn’t really do much, just spins around and mouths along to his delightfully charming little ditty. That’s about it really.
