We’re just a month away from the official release of Street Fighter IV. We’ve seen tons of footage and images of the game by now, but none of the media has ever been able to answer one very important question. Thanks to this latest video, we now know the answer. Yes, the Street Fighers will have wardrobe changes! Oh my gawd!
The alt costumes are a lot of hits and misses. For instance, Chun-Li’s alt costume is awesome. Akuma’s alt costume, though, isn’t so hot. Which ones do you like or hate?
Easily my favorite of all the alt costumes belongs to Zangeif. Is Capcom hinting at a new Final Fight perhaps? Or maybe Capcom just has a huge of a hard on for Mike Haggar as we do. We have longed believed that Mike Haggar and Zangief are long lost brothers and I think this video proves our theory.
Mmmm, mustache.

Capcom’s Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is great, but not perfect. And according to the game’s producer, Rey Jimenez, there’s a patch on the way. Unfortunately, he’s not saying what the patch does … yet.

When I sent Chad Concelmo to interview Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo of G-Unit, I thought it was going to be the most hilarious match-up ever. Chad did a great job as usual, and the reality of him together in a room with the hip-hop superstars was as great as it was in my head.

There’s no shortage of twin-stick shooters wherever you go, especially when it comes to downloadable titles. Their relatively undemanding specifications make them simple candidates for swift downloads, and the simplicity of the formula serves as a great starting point for budding developers.
As I have said many times during the course of these Community Game reviews, however, it takes more than sticking to standards in order for a title to stand out among all the other “me too” games. This is the challenge facing Galax-e-mail, and each other shooter out there.

I’m not going to bother you with my analysis of the above video nor will I attempt to explain the majority of its content. I’m afraid that my words would spoil the jokes. The only thing you need to know is that this is a promotional video F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. And it rocks.
I couldn’t laugh because I was too busy staring at the nurse. She has two magnificent eyes. The other two nurses at the end of the video don’t have bad ones either.
If I might put my male idiocy aside for the moment, I’ve to point out something that Conrad caught when I showed him the video. Toward the end, the main nurse (the one with the magnificent eyes) said, “…we care about your gaming experience … and you.”
Her pause speaks volumes about the games industry.

Oh, ESRB.org — it’s one of the only places I have the ability to read the words “a fantastic succubus with cleavage and panties.”
This is, of course, in their description for the upcoming digital metal-fest, Guitar Hero: Metallica. In its effort to describe the T-rated title, the ESRB also reveals some suggestive lyrics that reveals that following songs will appear on the soundtrack:
- Metallica – “Am I Evil?” (”sweet and timely whore, take me home”)
- Metallica – “Whiplash” (”We’re gathered here to maim and kill”)
- Michael Schenker Group – “Armed and Ready” (”I got a gunsight trained on you”)
- Social Distortion – “Mommy’s Tiny Monster” (”Mommy’s little monster had sex at 15″)
The MSG track, “Armed and Ready,” was previously revealed in an issue of Game Informer, which hit shelves last month. You can check out those tracks here.
Guitar Hero: Metallica and its expletives, sexual references, and revealing clothing will hit shelves on March 29.

Microsoft Games Studios and Ensemble Studios are excited because they’re done with Halo Wars. That’s right, completed — the game has gone gold, which means it’s off somewhere being made for public consumption. This means the game is all set for its March 3 North American release, and we shouldn’t expect any delays.
The Halo Wars demo will be available on Xbox LIVE at the very specific date and time of February 5 at 2 o’clock in the morning, Pacific. So if it’s a minute late, feel free to start furiously bitching all over the World wide web. The demo will feature the first two stories in the game’s campaign mode, as well as a multiplayer map called “Chasms” that you’ll be able to battle against A.I. on.
Microsoft have also released the first in what’s sure to be a series of Halo Wars video documentaries, which you can see above. If you want it in glorious HD (and it does look glorious), it’s also available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
So, who’s more excited about this game than Halo: ODST?

Despite the fact that Tomb Raider: Underworld didn’t sell nearly as well as Eidos had hoped, that hasn’t stopped the publisher from charging ahead with a new downloadable level, exclusive to the Xbox 360. It’s called Beneath the Ashes, and it’s due out next month.
Beneath the Ashes is set for February 10 and will be one of two DLC levels scheduled for the 360. Lara’s Shadow, the second level, will be available on March 10. I’m sure Microsoft are laughing with the hot exclusivity arrangement. Sony is kicking itself.
Full press release is after the jump, and there are a batch of new screens, and by “a batch” I actually mean “two”, so check them out. Or not. Probably not.
