Today, Ubisoft announced Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Computer. It is a prequel to the sub-par, but artistically inspired western shooter Call of Juarez.

The details are trim. According to the press release, Bound in Blood features settings such as “Civil War-era Georgia” (fingers crossed for fire) and Aztec ruins (fingers crossed for plague). It also mentioned being able to control both McCall brothers — a point that might be hinting at cooperative play or another split narrative.

No word on release timeframe or if Ubisoft decided to get trendy and offer moral choices to players. Press release is listed after the break for those interested in exclamation marks and promises.
