Pre-E3 09: Madden NFL 10 devs talk about putting in Co-Op screenshot

It’s no fun getting your ass kicked in Madden. Just because you never watch football, have all these different patterns ingrained in your head, and aren’t in a frat, doesn’t mean that you should be subjected to an hour of trash-talking by someone who barely plays games. I mean, let’s see them try and take down even one Colossus.

Ahem.

Anyways, all that has changed, with the game now featuring Co-Op: having both players on the same team. Now you and your friend can work constructively to try and make it through an entire season, coordinating plays, pointing out dangers, and giving them reassuring pats on the ass.

If you hadn’t already read Samit’s Madden NFL 10 preview, I suggest you do so. EA Tiburon has added in a hell of a lot, making it a huge improvement over Maddens past. After the jump, you can listen to the team speak about the addition of the Co-Op mode. It nearly makes me want to pick up Madden for myself. Almost.

Some beautiful BioShock 2 concept art for you to stare at screenshot

Colin Fix is 2K’s Senior Character Designer on BioShock 2 and he has posted some of his BioShock 2 concept artwork over on his personal blog, Knuckle Deep. The images include the final design of the Large Sister, a Ceiling Crawler, the main character’s arm, some early sketches of the Big Sister and the Large Daddy doll from the debut trailer.

Colin’s wife, Annie Fix, also worked on BioShock 2 and pretty much all of the design work on the Tiny Sisters was done by Annie. Colin notes that Annie: ” … brought just the right sensitive feminine touch to these freaky little sweethearts.” Check out this image of Little Sister over on Annie’s blog.
