I thought we’d gone through this all already? Despite being told multiple times that the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII won’t affect the PS3 version, Square Enix still feels the need to reassure worried Sony fans who can’t seem to cease whining about it. Thus it continues, with the studio saying there’s “no chance” of the PS3 version being compromised.
Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase has donned riot gear and walked among the screeching masses, focusing on the common belief that the 360 version will require eight million DVDs to house the entire thing. Kitase says that no matter how many discs the game will need, it won’t be a factor in the game’s overall quality.

In before “OMG, it’s called ‘Rock’ Band, not ‘country’ band LOLZ.” State what you will, but the country music genre is one of the most popular in United States. And with that, more than a few people should be excited about Harmonix’s upcoming retail Rock Band Country Track pack, which ships on July 21 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
This isn’t the first retail track pack available, but the Country Track Pack is special in that it’s the first to contain tracks not previously available to the Rock Band platform as DLC. While the tracks will eventually be made available as DLC on the Rock Band store, if you want to espouse the virtues of knowing when to hold ‘em and knowing when to fold’ em, you’ll have to pick up the pack. There’s 13 of these exclusive tracks to be exact, including Kenny Chesney’s “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” and Kenny Roger’s “The Gambler.”
As with other track packs, the songs will be exportable to your hard drive for use in Rock Band or Rock Band 2; the $29.99 track pack can also be played on its own.
The full track listing can be found after the jump; the tracks with the asterisk are those “exclusive for a limited time” tracks we were talking about.
