Modern Warfare 2 customization depth is 'ridiculous' screenshot

Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has been in London recently to show off Modern Warfare 2, the latest in the stupidly popular Call of Duty franchise. While speaking about the depth of customization options in the new game, Bowling stated that hardcore gamers will definitely find appeal, and also said that it was “ridiculous” in its optional freedom.

The beta is really just the tip of the iceberg at this point, we’re really just showing a tiny bit [of the game],” he explained. “There’s a lot more to come, whether it be customizable kill streaks, custom death streaks, equipment like tactical insertion, Semtex grenades – all that stuff.

What we’re offering with Modern Warfare 2 is a ridiculous amount of customization. The lead-out is insane, you have all these attachments to select from. It really caters to the hardcore gamer who wants to dive in deep.”

Considering how much Activision is charging some people for this game, it damn well superior be deep and full of customization.

Greenberg: Xbox 360 will beat PS3 at baseball screenshot

That’s right, folks! Aaron Greenberg, a man employed by Microsoft, has nice things to say in public about Microsoft! How about that for mindblowing? Once again, MS’ minister of propaganda is spraying hubris from his boastnozzle into our blogmouth, claiming confidently that the Xbox 360 will dominate the PS3 this generation.

“What I have the ability to tell you is we remain confident that Xbox 360 will not only outsell PS3 for the full calendar year, but for this entire generation,” stated Greenberg, as lightning crackled behind him, probably. “It is similar to a game of baseball, it isn’t about just winning one inning, but instead being able to win the game by consistently delivering across all nine innings.

“I actually think the story here is about much more than just hardware sales. It’s about the entire ecosystem and investing in the future; something we are very focused on. There is also the whole financial side of the equation that people rarely seem to pay attention to.”

So there you have it. Microsoft will defeat the PS3 this generation because baseball.
