Part two of THQ’s video interview with Darksiders creative director Joe Madureira is here, and this time the comic book artist discusses the creation of a number of key characters and his inspirations for the Darksiders characters. He also draws a magic horse that comes to life. It is pretty stupid.

Darksiders is hitting the Says on January 5, and I’m rather stoked. It seems care about it will be ludicrously manly, which is what you need now and then. Shamelessly silly amounts of testosterone. You can’t go too wrong with that.

Xbox Japan has updated to reveal the first hot screens of No More Heroes: Hero’s Paradise. These spicy-hot images reveal the graphical improvements that Travis Touchdown and his psychopathic friends will receive when they make the transition from Wii to HD consoles. Things are looking swanky.

There’s a definite improvement, one that I’m sure won’t be fully appreciated until we get to see it running on our own HDTVs. Even so, this is exciting stuff, and I can’t wait to see this game get a second chance at selling. Here’s hoping it gets the marketing it needs to reach the people who don’t know they want this game yet.

Because they do want it.
