Asus has just launched the Zenfone 3s Max. Currently priced at Rs. 14,999, which converts to around $220 based on the current exchange rate, the device is on sale in India now. It will be available from today via both offline and online retail channels in Black and Sand Gold color variants.
The highlights of the Zenfone 3s Max are its metal unibody design, a fingerprint scanner embedded inside the Home button on the front, and a mammoth 5,000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 3 days of normal usage.
Asus Zenfone 3s Max sports a 5.2-inch 720p display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC, along with 3GB of Ram and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 2TB through the dual-hybrid SIM slot.
On the camera front, the Zenfone 3s Max features a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, PDAF, and 5P Largan lens. The rear camera also includes a manual camera mode aimed at changing ISO and Shutter Speed. The front-facing camera is 8MP with an 85-degree wide-angle lens.
The Zenfone 3s Max ships with on Android Nougat 7.0 with the company’s ZenUI on top and supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.0, and GPS/ A-GPS for connectivity. The handset is 8.5mm thick and weighs in at 175 grams.
Previously, Asus launched the Zenfone 3 Max in November in India. The device came in two variants: the 5.5-inch display version was priced at Rs 17,999 and the 5.2-inch one cost Rs 12,999.
