Android 7.0 Nougat comes with a handful of new cool features, notably a big update to the older feature called Quick Settings. The feature gives you the ability to access different options in a handy and quick manner. In particular, Android now officially offers an API which allows all the apps in the new 7.0 Android Nougat smartphones to create their own Quick Settings tiles. So if you would like to add calculator to Quick Settings, just read on to know how to do it with ease.

Before getting started, note that the following Quick Settings Calculator app is only available for Nexus devices running Nougat. Now, just check out steps to add Calculator to Quick Settings:
Step 1: First, go into the Play Store, download and install Quick Settings Calculator app.
Step 2: Once you are done installing it, the app should add a calculator to the toggles of Quick Settings. The app doesn’t include many options, but you are presented with 2 options to disable the calculator shortcut and share the app.
Step 3: Next up, go to the Quick Settings via the notification shade and tap Edit.
Step 4: You will have some options available to add, just tap and hold QS Calc at the bottom of your phone’s screen in order to add it to the Quick Settings page.
Step 5: Once the calculator is added, you can quickly perform some calculations by tapping on the app’s icon in Quick Settings.
From now on, you just need to perform calculations right in the notification shade without the need to delve into the Calculator app. Note that if you input something wrong, the app displays “syntax error”.
