iOS 10 comes with tons of new features and lock screen is one of the biggest changes in iOS 10. From now on, you can do a lot of things right on your lock screen besides checking notifications and opening the camera. One of the most obvious changes coming to iPhone’s lock screen is that the iconic “Slide to unlock” feature is not around. Instead, Apple introduced a new way to unlock the device.
Widgets are also one of the major changes. You now can access your widget with rich information right from your lock screen by swiping left to right, or you can reply to messages. For many of us, the redesigned lock screen may be useful as it offers an easy way to access information and perform tasks on notifications. Others, on the other hand, find it annoying as it allows anyone to access private information without even unlocking the device. If you happen to sit in the opposing group, you can easily disable lock screen widgets on your iPhone.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to disable lock screen widgets on your iPhone
