Here is how to use Android File Transfer to transfer media from Android to Mac (and vice versa)
Android is different from iPhone with painful syncing process as it is a simple file storage. Here is how to use Android File Transfer to transfer media from Android to Mac (and vice versa):
Step 1: First off, you need to download Android File Transfer.
Step 2: Next, you continue to unlock your Android device.
Step 3: Now, connect your Android device to your Mac using a USB cable. This allows your device to launch Android File Transfer automatically. If not, you simply launch it manually.
Step 4: After that, you need to tap Allow on your Android device when prompted.
- Here, you must choose theconnection type. You can choose to transfer media files or whatever variation of that phrase your Android device says.
Step 5: Here, open a Finder window on your Mac.
Step 6: Lastly, you have to drag and drop files from Finder to Android File Transfer. This helps you create folders in Android File Transfer that’ll show up on your Android device.
By using an SD card in your Android device, you can easily choose to drop files onto the SD card right in Android File Transfer. You can simply drag from Android File Transfer to a Finder window or your desktop to transfer files from your Android device to your Mac in the exact same way.

Use Google Drive
In my opinion, the next best option that helps you transfer file is to save stuff to Google Drive. You can save to Google Drive on your Mac by doing the following steps:
Step 1: First off, you need to go a web browser or download the Google Drive app.
Step 2: Next, you continue to log in on Google.com.
Step 3: Here, you have to click the apps button on the upper right of the window.
Step 4: Now, you simply need to click Drive.
Step 5: After that, click New on the upper left of your screen.
Step 6: Then, you continue to click File upload. You can also choose to upload an entire folder.
Step 7: Lastly, you have to click Open or hit enter on your keyboard.
Now, you can see your file or folder will upload to Google Drive. Depending on how big your upload is, this can take a few minutes
Besides, you can only drag files or folders from a Finder window into the Google Drive window on your browser. Actually, Google Drive becomes another folder on your device. So just drag it into the Google Drive folder when you want to do something available on your Android device.
