Siri is a great virtual assistant as it helps us get many things done. Thanks to the pre-installation of the Reminders app, you can easily say the phrases like, “Remind me of…”, “Remind me to call…”, etc.
Siri will let you know when reminding you of these tasks. However, some iPhone users have recently reported the issues with Siri when it failed to send out reminders.
Fix Reminders not working on Apple Watch
If you are in the same trouble, here are a few simple fixes that help you bring Siri working again on your iPhone and Apple Watch
An issue recently happening with Apple Watch users is that Siri did not remind of tasks. It occurred after setting a reminder up and then telling Siri to remind of the task at a specific time and it failed to do it.
Here are some tricks to fix this issue.
Disable Do Not Disturb
Sometimes enabling Do Not Disturb and then forgetting to turn it off can cause your notifications to move to your iPhone instead of your Apple Watch.
To turn this mode off:
- Press the side button to power on your watch
- Swipe up to open Control Center
- Tap the moon icon
Lock your iPhone
It might be the Siri fault. Instead, your iPhone might be unlocked during the time. If your iPhone is unlocked, any notifications sent to your Apple Watch will display on your iPhone. So, you did not catch a reminder notification from Siri on time, though it sent to you.
To receive notifications on your Apple Watch, press the Power button to lock your iPhone.
Double check Reminders notifications
One more thing you can do is checking if the Reminders app has the right notifications on your Apple watch. To check this
- Launch Watch app on your iPhone
- Move to My Watch > Notifications > Reminders
- Here, choose Custom and turn on Show Alerts, Sound and Haptic
