iOS 10 comes with tons of exciting features, making it the biggest iOS release ever. Whether it is new lock screen, stickers and apps in the Messages, or Raise to Wake, iOS 10 is something you don’t want to miss at all. Right after the Apple’s keynote 2016, Apple released the Grand Master (GM) build to developers worldwide ahead of the final build that is scheduled on September 13.

In this tutorial, we will show how to install iOS 10 right now on your iOS device
1. How to install iOS 10 via Apple Public Beta Program
Apple has always released beta versions of its new operating system, and iOS 10 is no exception. If have already signed up for Apple’s Public Beta Program, you can easily download and install the GM build of iOS 10 on your device, as it is now available for registered users only.
To get the Grand Master build of iOS 10 on your device, you can go to Settings > General > Software Update and check for the available update.
Note that the procedure is only applicable to the registered users. If you have not enrolled in the program yet, sign for the Apple Beta Software Program before moving ahead.
2. How to install GM build of iOS 10 using Xcodes and iTunes
If you have not enrolled in the program, or you simply don’t want to sign up for the beta or leave it later, there is a workaround that you can use to install the GM build of iOS 10 on your device. Here is how you do it:
Before we get started, make sure that you have a complete backup of your device, so that you can restore it in case something goes wrong. Besides, the installation requires you to have a Mac to complete the process.
Assuming you have a full backup of you device and you have a Mac by your side, let’s proceed with installing iOS 10 on your device.
Step one: Launch web browser on your Mac and point it to the following url: https://developer.apple.com/xcode/. Once you are in, click on the Download button.
Step two: Next up, you are required to enter your Apple ID and password to sign in. After logging in, you will be asked to create a free developer membership.
Step three: Once you are done, all you have to do is to click on the “Download Xcode 8” link to start the download process.
Step four: Wait until the download has been completed, double – click that file to install it on your Mac.
Step five: You need to download the iOS 10 GM IPSW file. Make sure you choose your model correctly to download the file.
Step six: Connect your iPhone to your Mac, launch iTunes and select the Summary Tab. After that, hold down the Option/Alt key and select “Update”, and browse and select the iOS 10 IPSW file you downloaded earlier.
Once you are done, iTunes will start the update process. When it is done, you will have the latest iOS 10 on your device. Note that the final build of iOS 10 will be released to the public on September 13 with bug fixes, you can install it on your device.
