Apple iPhone includes dozens of built-in apps like compass, news, reminders and more. Many of those apps seem to be a burden on the home screen, which means that you are not actively using them. Before now, it was impossible to delete the stock apps on iPhone or iPad. Luckily, with iOS 10, Apple has allowed its users to delete the less-used stock apps on their device. However, removing Apple’s stock apps can affect the system functionalities on your iOS device, so we recommend that you think twice before deleting any stock apps.
Note that if you remove a built-in app on your iPhone, it will be removed from the Apple Watch. If you delete Weather app, you will not see weather information on your iPhone. Similarly, if you delete Contacts, you will lose all your contact information. However, if you are not too much happy with Apple’s stock apps on your device, you can remove them from your home screen.
