HTC has been making efforts to compete well in the smartphone market, the Taiwanese company is going to announce its new handsets between CES and MWC. Rumors about these ones were floating around Internet for some time, but now we have got some of information about their specs. January 12 will be a big day for the company when it unveils three new smartphones, including HTC Alpine (HTC U Play), HTC Ocean Note (HTC U Ultra) and HTC E66 (HTC X10). Here’s what we know so far:
HTC U Play
Powered by a Helio P10 chipset, the HTC U Play features a 5.2-inch full HD display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 2,500 mAh battery. It includes 16MP sensors in both the front and back cameras, and new tech of under-the-glass fingerprint sensor positioned on the front.
Like the HTC 10 evo/HTC Bolt, the HTC U Play doesn’t feature the 3.5mm headphone jack.
HTC U Ultra
Known as the Ocean Note, HTC U Ultra ships a 6-inch screen at cool Quad-HD resolution and newest 10 nm chipset Snapdragon 835. The handset has got a 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and, with support for microSD card expansion. Plus, it includes dual-lens camera on the back, using 24MP and 13MP sensors together, a 4,000 mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor positioned on the back.
Also, the HTC U Ultra isn’t packed with the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Lastly, HTC X10 is equipped with a 5.5-inch screen and Mediatek’s Helio P10 chipset. X10 features 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 16 MP rear and 8 MP front camera, and especially a 4,000mAh battery.
Unlike the U smartphones, the HTC X 10 does have the standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
