It’s fun to get early access to new apps and games in the Play Store before they are officially released. Plus, your feedback also assists the developers in fine tuning the experience on multiple devices. Thankfully, Google gives users a special section of the Play Store just for early release software. The Early Access section is divided into games and apps, with the disclaimer letting you know that the app may be unstable. Note that such apps may also come with quirks or errors that can potentially hinder the experience. But this way, you can help the developer to perfect the apps. In this post, we will walk you through the steps to get early access to new Android apps and games in the Play Store. Here we go.
Step 1: First and foremost, you will need to launch the Play Store.
Step 2: On the main Apps & Games pages, you should see ads for new or other highlight-worthy apps with keywords and categories below. You need to swipe to cycle through these keywords until you see the one labeled Early Access. Just tap it.
Step 3: You are now presented with a bunch of Early Access software.
Step 4: There are two sections including Unreleased Apps and Games in Development. You can tap More to view the full catalog of the two sections.
Step 5: Tap the app you want to check out, and then press the Install button. You will then see a disclaimer warning that the app is in development and may be unstable.
The app will install and update like any other app from the Play Store.
