Step 1: Select the photos you want to transfer in the Finder window.
Step 2: Click on the AirDrop option from the menu.
Step 3: Drag the selected items to your iPhone/iPad through Airdrop.
Step 4: Tap on Accept on your iPhone/iPad.
Use Photos app on Mac to Transfer Photos
Step 1: Launch the Photos app on your Mac.
Step 2: After that, click on the Photos menu on the left side of the screen.
Step 3: Now, simply click on Preferences.
Step 4: Choose iCloud and check the box next to iCloud Photo Library.
All you need is to wait until all of your photos are synced on your iPhone/iPad.
Use iCloud Photo Sharing to Transfer Photos
Even when you are still using the discontinued iPhoto or Aperture app on your Mac, there is still a way to move your favorite photos from your computer to your iPhone/iPad. To do so
Step 1: Open Settings app on your iPhone/iPad and select Photos and Camera option
Step 2: Toggle on iCloud Photo Library as well as iCloud Photo Sharing option
Step 3: On your Mac, open the Photos App.
Step 4: Choose the photos you want to upload and click on the Share icon at the top right corner.
Step 5: Select iCloud Photo Sharing option.
Transfer Photos via iCloud
Note: iCloud just supports popular file types like JPG files, so you should pay attention to that.
Step 1: To transfer photos from your Mac to your iPhone/iPad, you first need to toggle on iCloud Photo Library. Then, visit icloud.com and sign in your Apple account.
Step 2: Click on the Photos icon.
Step 3: Click on Upload icon at the right corner.
Step 4: Select the photos you want to upload.
You will see the processing bar at the bottom while uploading your photos.
Use iTunes to Transfer Photos
iTunes is still one of the most trusted ways to transfer all the photos from your computer to your iPhone/iPad.
Step 1: First, connect your iOS device to the computer and open iTunes.
Step 2: Choose your iOS device icon from the top bar.
Step 3: Now, click on the Photos tab.
Step 4: Tick on the checkbox near Sync Photos.
You need to click on iPhoto, Photos from the “Copy photos from” menu. Select the options as your preference.
Step 5: Click on Sync at the bottom right.
All the photos you chose will be copied to your iPhone/iPad.
