It is said that Xiaomi Redmi lineups is considered to be one of the most affordable products. However this time, instead of making a mid range device, Xiaomi decided to create something more innovative which can be obviously witnessed in its next generation model – the Redmi Pro 2.
Despite the fact that Xiaomi’s Redmi Pro 2 is rumored to be rolled out in March, this seems to be unofficial until now. However, there is a new leak today which is probably reveal some information about official pricing details for this device. Lately, a screen captured image from Taobao website appeared on Weibo disclosing the price of Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2. The screenshot shows a poster of the product with the price mentioned at the bottom which varies from 1599 to 1799 yuan, about $232 – $261. This also describes the device as standard and high version. When compared with the previous version, it costs 100 yuan higher. The front design of Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 in the screenshot looks the same as that of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6.

Unluckily, there is no specific specs brought to the light this time. Besides, the pricing match perfectly with the information once leaked in the past. Specifically, it said that the company will offer 2 options: 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage version or 6GB/128GB ones. The former will probably be cheaper and the latter will be more expensive. Additionally, the source also noted that Redmi Pro 2 will feature MediaTek’s Helio P25 SoC, together with a dual 12 MP camera sensor on its back.
Remarkably, even though the company hasn’t announced any official information to assert the existence of Redmi Pro 2, there are still 6 people who are supposed to have already preordered the phone. Those may be the fans of Xiaomi. According to many people, the price is rather expensive but it will be reasonable for a smartphone with elegant design and high specifications.
