Lava – one of the Indian smartphone manufacturers – has launched two new smartphones under the “Z series” lineup – Z10 and Z25 mid-range Android Smartphones. The Lava Z10 will be available in Yellow color option with the price tag at Rs.11,500, while the Z25 will go on sale with the Champagne and Gray colors for Rs.18,000. Yesterday, the retailers in India began to sell two smartphones across the country. To ensure customer rights, the duo Z10 and Z25 will offer a one-time screen replacement for one year as well as a 30-day replacement guarantee in case the hardware get damages within 30 days of purchase.
The Lava Z10 is covered with a metal back and eye-catching design with 8.4mm thin. The device features a 5-inch HD Full Lamination display. The smartphone also comes equipped the MediaTek MT6735 SoC 64-bit quad-core SoC, clocked at 1.3 GHz, with the Mali-T720 GPU. The chipset is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card slot. There is a 8MP camera at the back featuring with 1.4 micron pixels, and an f/2.0 aperture 5P Largan lens, while on the front is 5MP snapper with a dedicated LED flash, which helps users to easily take selfies in low light.
Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, GPS, dual SIM card slot and 4G VoLTE support. Keeping the light on is 2650mAh battery capacity. The device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Lava’s Star OS 3.3 layout on top.

While the Lava Z25 has a bigger 5.5-inch IPS HD display with a curved glass 2.5D on top. Powering the device will be the slightly stronger MediaTek MT6750 64-bit chipset, clocked at 1.5 GHz, with the Mali T860 GPU for taking care of the graphics. The midrange SoC comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable memory, thanks to the Dual Hybrid Dual slot.
At the back of the Lava Z25 is a 13MP main Sony IMX258 sensor with auto focus, phase detection, f / 2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is also a circular fingerprint scanner, located under the LED flash. On the front is an 8MP snapper with a f / 2.0 aperture lens and a single LED flash like on Z10. Smart connectivity features include: Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 4G VoLTE. The battery inside the Z25 is larger at 3020mAh without fast charging support.
